HI everyone - hope you are enjoying the summer.
We are celebrating a win this week - our very first market experience. Last Saturday was the Pearland Night Market on July 11, and after much planning, producing and packing - we managed to get everything to the event in no less than 3 SUV's!!! I think we were afraid we might forget something.
Chassidy created some amazing social media content leading up to the market and we were so very happy to have lots of friends and family show up for us. Justin, Chassidy and Tresha were fantastic to manage the inventory, packaging and sales part of the business. Thanks to Lauren and Kai for coming such a long way and helping us with anything we needed.
During the event, we had a steady flow of curious visitors, many who stayed and lingered to smell all the candle scents and ask questions about our botanical collections. Our customers showed great interest, gave us lovely complements on the products and set up, and we had great participation for our raffle basket drawing. Our lucky winner, Adriana, was thrilled to be notified she was our big winner.
In the days following, our team debrief was able to identify some tweaks that will make the next market smoother, and save some gas too. Our goal is to only have 2 vehicles next time, and a streamlined approach to inventory and set up.
